About PhotoArtz
PhotoArtz, based in the Clyde Valley of Central Scotland, can provide high quality photography of almost any type, style and genre, from portfolios to private commissions. We are in easy reach of anywhere in the Scottish central belt or we can arrange to use studios in your area, many of which we already have a working relationship (see the network page). We are also fully equipped for location shoots with mains or battery powered portable studio flash or mains powered tungsten lighting. Of course, Scotland offers some unsurpassed outdoor locations to choose from.
Do you undertake bespoke photography?
Yes, we undertake all types of photography covering all genres of image styles and a good selection can be viewed in our gallery. Please visit our services page for further information by clicking the link below.
Do you work with models on a test or TFP/CD basis?
Firstly, TFP/CD is an industry acronym meaning "Time For Prints or CD" where the model waives payment in lieu of a
selection of prints or a CD (DVD) of images from the shoot.
Yes, we will always consider TFP/CD work.
Our criteria being that we think the shoot could be worthwhile for us and feel we are able to offer the model something
different. You don't need to be a young Goddess to work with us though. If we see something special in your look, we
will be happy work with you. Be warned though that we may also consider charging you for our time if we don't see that
working with you would benefit our business. It's a commercial world - if you like what we do that much, it's worth paying for.
NOTE 1
Please note that we will never sell any images from a TFP/CD, we do not consider that is fair! We may use images to
promote our business by placing them on this web site and other modelling or photography sites. With your permission we
will promote you appropriately and any approaches for image sale or use will result in a 50/50 split in revenue.
NOTE 2
Please also note that in order to protect our public image, we will restrict the use images from a TFP/CD shoot. You CANNOT
use any image as you wish and we reserve the right to refuse use of, or insist that post-production work is carried out on an
image that you may want to use. In in event, all TFCD images are under copyright to PhotoArtz and you must ask our
permission before use. Lastly, we INSIST that our copyright logo by applied to any image prior to use.
What about copyright?
Unless you purchase copyright assignment, PhotoArtz retain copyright on all images. In the case of models, we will ask you to sign a Model Release to confirm this before the shoot commences. We use industry standard model releases.

Do you need locations for shoots?
Most definately yes! We are always on the look out for interesting locations and venues for shoots so if you know of one, please get in contact and let us know. We will of course consider remuneration based on the location, style and our client's needs.
